Scarlet's Fund residency at All That We Are (2018)

This was a brief residency, but an important one, as it was my first ever week working as a composer.

 

This residency was awarded from participation in the Flinders Quartet's 2017 Composer Workshop, and I used the it to begin work on two pieces which would become Out of Hibernation and sketches for what would ultimately become my wind quintet Streams.

All that we are is a beautiful place to make new work, and it was a real privilege to go to Hobart and "begin" my professional career. I'll always be indebted to the Flinders Quartet for this opportunity!
