Scarlet's Fund residency at All That We Are (2018)

This was a brief residency, but an important one, as it was my first ever week working as a composer.

 

This residency was awarded from participation in the Flinders Quartet's 2017 Composer Workshop, and I used the it to begin work on two pieces which would become Out of Hibernation and the as yet unperformed wind quintet Streams.

 

All that we are is a beautiful place to make new work, and it was a real privilege to go to Hobart and "begin" my professional career. I'll always be indebted to the Flinders Quartet for this opportunity!
